As our Chief of Staff, you’ll act as a force multiplier for the leadership team, driving alignment, ensuring execution, and creating leverage across the business. This role is for someone who is hungry and has exceptionally high agency; you should thrive on ambiguity, take ownership, and know how to create value without waiting for direction. No task is too big or too small.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive strategic initiatives: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to prioritize, execute, and track progress on the highest-impact projects across the company
  • Create leverage for leadership: Streamline decision-making, manage leadership cadences, and ensure follow-through on commitments
  • Operate cross-functionally: Work across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Customer Success to close gaps, accelerate progress, and unlock new opportunities
  • Influence without authority: Build trust and alignment across teams, enabling collaboration without relying on formal reporting lines
  • Own special projects: Step into ambiguous, high-priority efforts—whether it’s launching new processes, tackling operational bottlenecks, or testing new growth levers
  • Be a thought partner: Provide strategic input, surface insights, and help shape the future direction of Profound

This is an on-site role in our Union Square office — designed for operators who thrive on speed, iteration, and impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $140,000 – $190,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
