Until now, doing that efficiently within Profound required a bit more coordination and effort than we'd like. That changes with Agency Mode.
A New Chapter for Agencies on Profound
Agency Mode introduces a self-serve experience designed specifically for agencies. It gives teams the power to create and manage brand environments (also known as Categories in Profound), right inside the platform and on demand.
Whether you’re setting up a quick audit for a pitch or configuring a long-term brand workspace, Agency Mode makes it effortless.

Run Custom Audits (Pitch Environments)
Need to prepare for a new client pitch with a tight deadline? Agencies can now instantly create custom audit environments to explore opportunities for potential brands.
- Create on-demand “pitch” environments that expire based on contract terms.
- Define brand name, industry, regions, topics, competitors, and context.
- Automatically generate prompts and then fine-tune them in the prompt editor before launching.
- Access a fully configured Profound instance for your pitch, with all contract limits applied.
When the pitch is over, the environment expires - keeping your workspace clean and manageable.
Create Brand Configurations (Full Environments)
Once a client signs on, you can promote them from pitch to full-fledged brand configuration.
- Configure long-term environments (typically annual) for ongoing accounts.
- Customize brand identity, regions, topics, competitors, and prompts.
- Launch directly into a fully operational Profound instance built for that brand.
- As an admin, see users from your organization and their Profound permissions
Every brand configuration runs independently, giving agencies a simple way to manage multiple clients from one account.
