As our Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll thread together strategy, systems, and analytics so our marketing engine runs smoothly and scales fast.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain the marketing operations architecture — CRMs, marketing automation platforms, analytics dashboards, lead-scoring workflows, and attribution models — so our campaigns and performance are measurable, repeatable, and efficient.
- Own campaign execution processes: develop and implement checklists, QA frameworks, and post-campaign analysis that feed back into better performance.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data teams to ensure clean data flows, consistent definitions (leads, MQLs, SQLs), and seamless handoffs between marketing and sales.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that surface campaign performance, funnel conversion health, channel ROI, and pipeline attribution — enabling marketing leadership to make informed decisions.
- Drive lead lifecycle strategy: from capture to sales handoff, including list segmentation, nurture mapping, lead scoring/timing logic, and re-engagement streams.
- Own and architect the marketing tech stack across email nurture, lead scoring, webinar platforms, event management, A/B/n testing, site chat, and more.
- Lead operational improvements — identify bottlenecks, streamline tools, document processes, and scale marketing operations as we grow.
- Be the subject-matter expert on our marketing tech stack: stay current on best practices, recommend new tools when needed, and train the broader team in usage and adoption.
Who You Are
- A structured, detail-oriented thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate operations and systems issues in clear business terms.
- You’ve built or scaled marketing operations in a B2B SaaS environment and know how to set up marketing automation, lead scoring, attribution models, and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- You’re deeply curious about data and performance — you love building dashboards, analyzing funnel metrics, and driving insights that improve team outcomes.
- You’re comfortable moving fast, iterating quickly, and refining processes as you learn. You thrive in startup environments where operations are being built in real time.
- You’re collaborative and cross-functional, working seamlessly with marketing, product, sales, and engineering teams.
- Bonus: experience in AI or martech, or working in a category-creation stage company.
Location
This is an on-site role based in our Union Square office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 – $160,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
