In June 2026, Cloudflare reported that bot traffic had overtaken human traffic on the web for the first time in history. Increasingly, the visitor arriving at your site is an AI agent, not a person. The issue is your website was built for humans, not AI.
Your site is designed for someone who clicks, scrolls, and waits for a page to render in a browser. AI bots do not do any of that. As a result, the content you put hours into is never seen by AI agents, and your brand is invisible in AI Search.
Today we are introducing Dynamic Bot Rendering. Profound detects when AI bots visit your site and automatically serves them a fully rendered version of your pages, while leaving the human experience completely untouched. The result: your site works perfectly for humans and is fully visible to AI, at the same time.
Invisible by default
Most AI bots go to your site and fetch the initial HTML response. They have no browser engine to run a script, no rendering step to hydrate a component, and no way to click "load more." If your content only appears behind one of these steps, bots never see it. This affects far more pages than teams realize, including:
- Homepages pages built on JavaScript frameworks that ship a near-empty shell
- Pricing pages with tabs and accordions that only render on click
- Competitive pages with personalization logic or third-party scripts that write in content after the page has already loaded
These are not bugs. These tactics have been used to design websites have been designed for over a decade. These features just happen to make you invisible to the audience that now reads more of your content than people do. And, if your content is invisible, it cannot make its way into an answer when your buyer is prompting ChatGPT.
The Fix: Bot View and Dynamic Bot Rendering
Before today, figuring out what was missing from AI's view and making a change was incredibly manual and, in some cases, next to impossible. You would have to first comb through each page of your site, identify what a bot couldn't see, then have someone on the web or design side change your site directly, either by editing the page or writing a manual rule at the CDN layer.
Now there's a third option. Bot View, within Profound Pages, shows what bots see when they come to your site versus what a human sees. Once you know what content is missing, you can turn on Dynamic Bot Rendering. Profound creates a separate, fully-loaded copy of the page, one with everything that would normally be missed. When AI bots come to your site, Profound delivers this page directly to them so no content is missed.
You can decide how widely this applies: your whole site, a group of similar pages, or just one exact page. You also decide which bots receive this experience: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and more.
With Dynamic Bot Rendering, AI and human visitors can see two different versions of the same page, one built for people and one for bots, without a single change in your CMS.
Marketing now has two audiences
You spend hours deciding what belongs on a page, the comparison points, the value propositions, the exact answers your buyers need. An AI bot arrives at that same page and sees none of it, because the page was not built for them.
It is no longer enough to persuade a person. You now have to market to the machine, and still earn the human who has the final say. Dynamic Bot Rendering makes sure the marketing you already put work into makes its way into answers.
What's next
Rendering is the foundation. Next, your AI Marketer will be able to optimize content, A/B test, and even serve different versions to different bots, without affecting the human experience. Aim will also watch for changes on your site to proactively recommend when it's time to act.
